We are looking for you as production planner (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Augsburg.

Your tasks:
- Planning of operations, production resources, and manufacturing aids such as fixtures, as well as defining standard times, taking into account manufacturing capabilities based on design documents and bills of materials
- Monitoring production and assembly schedules and ensuring timely execution
- Determining costs for in-house and outsourced manufacturing
- Preparing pre- and post-cost calculations for economic evaluation
- Analyzing economic and manufacturing-technology alternatives, also based on insights from technical trade publications
- Initiating internal order release
- Selecting, organizing, and controlling external manufacturing in coordination with the line manager, as well as monitoring quality and delivery deadlines at defined suppliers and service providers, including carrying out dunning procedures
- Regular coordination with design engineering, NC programming, and production to ensure manufacturability of components, identify cost reduction opportunities, and implement design specifications in a practical manner
- Reviewing bill of materials structures from engineering and customer divisions and, if necessary, initiating and ensuring corrections
- Initiating design changes such as dimensions, tolerances, or materials, and monitoring their implementation
- Maintaining planning parameters to optimize inventory levels, such as lot sizes and safety stocks

Your profile:
- Successfully completed advanced training as a master craftsman or state-certified technician in mechanical engineering, based on a vocational qualification with professional experience
- Solid expertise in production planning and scheduling, sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and welding technology, along with strong technical competence
- Confident use of an ERP system, ideally PSI-Penta
- Independent and structured working style, with enjoyment of collaborating across various interfaces
- Responsible handling of technology and materials
- Solution-oriented and analytical mindset
- Confident and respectful communication skills
- Fluent German and good English skills
