Join our team as a passionate and skilled Junior EMEA Premix Formulation Expert, where you’ll be responsible for creating and developing labels for pet food premixes across the region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, customer service, account managers, and premix production to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate premixes for pet food premix EMEA blend plant, including modification of existing formulations.
• Support the transfer of pet food premix formulations between blend plants.
• Translate customer requirements into the premix production process while ensuring regulatory compliance and integrity.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support premix plant operations.
• Develop and approve ingredient specifications and new ingredients.
• Support compliance initiatives related to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with account management, including premix training, samples production, competitive evaluations, and nutritional services.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Based on your experience, we offer a competitive base salary starting at a minimum of €40,000 per year for junior-level positions. For more experienced professionals, we provide an attractive and competitive compensation package tailored to your expertise and capabilities.

YOU BRING

• Master of Science degree, preferably in Animal Nutrition
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in premix formulation or pet food/feed formulation.
• Competences in formulation software (BESTMIX, SAP formulation tools, BRILL).
• Good understanding of EU feed regulations and ability to apply them to premix use and labelling.
• Understanding of feed materials and additives and their application in animal nutrition.
• Experience of Microsoft Office programmes including Excel.
• Working knowledge of Operations Management System and HSE requirements.
• Good knowledge of English and good communication skills.
• Car and a European driving licence are necessary for commuting to the office in Haag
