, the Global Product Group (GPG) Insulation and Components strives to enable our partners to build superior transformers and support their growth to meet the demands of the electrification supercycle and the accelerated energy transition. Our product portfolio is used by OEMs and end customers in various applications all over the world. With our global expansion and portfolio strategy, we have laid the foundation for further innovation and growth for the coming years.
As Global Technology Transfer Program Manager, you are accountable for the planning and execution of the Transfer-of-Technology (ToT) roadmap, covering different product lines and geographies. Reporting to the Global Product Group Manager, you will translate strategy into action, own and oversee the ToT program, and drive the GPG success in close collaboration with the wider organization and our partners.
How you’ll make an impact
- Oversight of definition, planning and execution of transfer-of-technology program and projects, and associated documentation and processes.
- Deliver global program on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
- Provide cross-functional guidance and leadership to Transfer-of-Technology (ToT) project managers and project teams, connecting global, regional, and local stakeholders to facilitate program execution.
- Review and update ToT and related processes to enhance scalability, speed and quality, and address improvement potential in adjacent functions where applicable.
- Ensure synchronization of ToT program and related R&D or CAPEX projects.
- Coordinate with Global Operations to review, update and streamline operating procedures, documentation, manufacturing processes and equipment across locations as part of the ToT.
- Work with sending and receiving units to ensure proper staffing, workforce planning, hiring, and training activities to ensure successful program execution.
Your background
- University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry knowledge of transformers and related insulation & components.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Operations, Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Service within an international environment.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and manage B2B relationships and external partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, solution-driven mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Results-driven, self-motivated business leader with excellent analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience working across different countries and cultures, with willingness to travel 10–30% of the time.
