Technical Sales Support Supervisor (m/w/d) Fire Protection Systems

• Supervise and mentor a team of technical sales support engineers.
• Provide advanced technical guidance on fire detection, suppression, and integrated fire safety solutions.
• Review, validate, and optimize system designs, quotations, and technical proposals.
• Support the sales team with high-level technical presentations, customer meetings, and solution demonstrations.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with relevant codes and standards (NFPA, EN, VDS and international regulations).
• Manage complex customer inquiries and escalate technical issues as required.
• Coordinate with engineering, product management, and operations to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Lead the preparation of tender responses, including system schematics, BOQs, and compliance statements.
• Train internal teams and customers on products, systems, and best practices.
• Track team performance, maintain KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, market trends, and competitive products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, or related field)
• 5–7+ years of experience in fire protection systems, with at least 1–3 years in a supervisory or senior technical role
• Strong background with fire detection, suppression, emergency communication, and integrated life-safety systems
• Proven experience supporting sales teams and interacting directly with customers, consultants, and authorities
• Experience with major fire protection brands and platforms is an advantage
• Deep knowledge of NFPA codes, EN standards, and international fire regulations
• Ability to read and create technical drawings (AutoCAD, BIM/Revit knowledge is a plus)
• Strong capability in system design, cost estimation, and tender preparation
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity
