The Helios Klinikum Bad Saarow near Berlin is looking for several volunteers (m/f/d) for a 12-month assignment in the BUFDI - Federal Volunteer Service (m/f/d ) - starting on the first day of the month

• You will work in the ward service, patient support service and/or in our in-house daycare center "Filius"
• You will support the staff on the wards with patient care, bedding patients and mobilizing them
• You will help with serving meals and transporting patients to diagnostics and therapy
• In our "Filius" daycare center, you will support the team of educators in their daily tasks relating to the care of the daycare children

• You are at least 16 years old and would like to get a taste of practical experience after school, are in the waiting semester for a place at university or are looking for a change of direction (unlike the FSJ, there is no upper age limit for the BUFDI)
• You have an interest and skill in dealing with sick and needy people
• Willingness to participate in educational support and further training seminars
• Good health condition
• Commitment, willingness to learn, openness and sociability
• Empathy and willingness to help as well as legally required proof of measles immunization

• A comprehensive insight into working life in the healthcare/education sector for a period of 12 months; an extension of up to six months is generally possible
• A thorough induction in the area of work selected together with you
• Guidance and support from experienced mentors as well as teamwork in an open and trusting atmosphere
• The weekly working time is 38.5 hours (full-time) + breaks, part-time is possible (min. 20.5 hours)
• Granting of statutory vacation entitlement during the 12-month employment period
• Free lunch in our cafeteria
