Senior Manager Global Compliance & Sanctions (f/m/d)

We are looking for an exceptional professional to join our global compliance team as Senior Manager Legal Sanctions & AML. In this critical role, you will report to the Legal Sanctions & AML Director. You will ensure STADA Group’s adherence to international Trade Sanctions, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving compliance initiatives across the organization while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. What you can expect

• In your role as Senior Manager Legal Sanctions & AML, you ensure STADA Group’s compliance with international Trade Sanctions and AML regulations.
• You support the development and implementation of STADA’s compliance management system for Trade Sanctions and AML matters.
• You assess the impact of Trade Sanctions regimes (U.S., EU, UK, Switzerland, etc.) on business operations and communicate findings to relevant functions.
• You manage Trade Sanctions IT screening tools, ensuring they are updated according to the latest regulatory developments.
• You conduct compliance assessments on products, software, transactions, services, and third parties.
• You apply for export licenses from EU authorities for restricted products, software, and services to sanctioned countries.
• You lead audits and implement corrective actions in collaboration with internal teams.
• You develop and deliver Trade Sanctions and AML policies, training, and compliance initiatives.

• At least 6 years of experience in compliance, legal, or audit roles, with 4+ years in Western Trade Sanctions (U.S., EU, UK, Switzerland) and AML.
• Deep knowledge of Trade Sanctions regulations and EU AML requirements, including experience with license applications to EU authorities (e.g., BAFA).
• Strong expertise in Trade Sanctions Due Diligence processes and digitalization strategies for compliance systems.
• Knowledge of SAP GTS or similar tools is a plus.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business; a law degree or legal qualification is a plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects with strong delegation and supervisory skills.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
