As a
Quality Inspector
you will inspect engines, modules, and piece parts during and after the disassembly process, ensuring that all reused parts are serviceable and that unacceptable findings are corrected. You will ensure a flowless quality and act as the first interface between SR Technics engine maintenance services and the customer.
Your tasks
- Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) on schedule and according to OEM specifications and engineering orders
- Create repair orders for engines, modules, and piece parts
- Check modifications carried out on individual parts and assemblies
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
- Handle operating materials (resources) in an environmentally conscious manner
- Work independently and think and act economically
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as Polymechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical qualification
- Self-motivated with a precise and accountable work approach
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing demands
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Good German and English skills (B1 level or higher)
- Flexibility to work in a two-shift system
