To strengthen our Finance team in the area of Commercial Controlling, we are looking for a motivated and committed Commercial Controller (m/f/d) 100%
Your Tasks
- You act as a Business Partner to the Buying team – from the Chief Merchandising Officer to Product Managers – and actively contribute to maximizing financial performance.
- Through in-depth analyses, data-driven insights and clear recommendations, you actively drive revenue, margin and stock performance.
- You analyze weekly performance (sales, margins, inventory levels) and support the definition and financial evaluation of commercial initiatives.
- You translate weekly KPI insights into concrete, actionable measures, including a transparent assessment of their financial impact.
- You actively contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring they are ambitious yet realistic.
- You develop and manage dashboards and reporting for key commercial peaks such as promotions, sales, Black Friday and Christmas.
- You analyze the outcomes of these peak periods, derive learnings and best practices, and ensure their consistent integration into future campaigns.
- You conduct pragmatic ad-hoc analyses, from hypothesis definition to evaluation and clear business recommendations.
- You contribute to strategic key projects, from analysis and concept development through to implementation.
your profile
- You hold a university degree with a focus on finance/controlling.
- You bring solid professional experience in controlling, ideally within a retail or fashion environment.
- You are fluent in English and German or French, both written and spoken.
- You are highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with common reporting and BI tools.
- You have an open, proactive mindset and enjoy contributing your own ideas.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable management recommendations.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and handle change and shifting priorities with confidence.
