Build real-world data pipelines and automate reporting in a production environment. Gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and ETL while contributing to scalable data systems.
Join our Product & Technology department as a Data Engineering Intern and gain practical, hands-on experience in a real production environment. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital platforms and data systems while developing reliable and scalable data-processing solutions. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities after graduation.
As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, this role requires working fully on-site.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a data engineering report automation project end-to-end;
Build or extend simple ETL/ELT pipelines under guidance;
Improve data quality checks, transformations, and monitoring processes;
Contribute to creating reliable and repeatable data-processing components;
Support testing, debugging, and optimization of data workflows;
Prepare a final report summarizing main tasks, outcomes, and key learnings during the last weeks of the internship.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent academic program;
No prior professional experience required;
Fluent in English (minimum B2).
Technical Skills
Basic Python skills (data manipulation, scripting, understanding of project ecosystems);
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DuckDB);
Understanding of core data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling, medallion architecture);
Familiarity with Linux/command line environments;
Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitLab CI/CD).
