The Position
We are seeking a Postdoc in Single Cell Technologies to join the Institute of Human Biology (IHB) in Basel, Switzerland. Join us and expand expertise in generation and integrated computational analyses of high-throughput, high-information-content data, focusing on complex human model systems.
The Opportunity
We invite you to develop a research direction on integrative analyses of single-cell sequencing and imaging data for exploratory and translational research. In this role, you will:
Develop integrated computational analyses of single-cell sequencing and imaging data
Contribute to exploratory and translational research using complex human model systems
Work on diverse tissues and topics including development and disorders of the central nervous system
Apply your skills to cell programming and perturbation screens
Join a highly collaborative research environment and expand your computational expertise
Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you should have the following required qualifications
PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, systems biology or related field obtained in the last 4 years (Required)
Strong experience in single-cell and spatial multiomic data generation and/or analysis (Required)
Prior training and/or experience in machine learning (Preferred)
A drive to understand organoids and other complex models of human biology and disease
A desire to work within a highly collaborative research environment

Duration: 3 years with extension options
