Your challenge

• Link between business and IT for the understanding, definition and development of business processes within SAP related to accounting, cost accounting and controlling, taking into account local and group-wide accounting policies
• Definition of business requirements and creation of specifications as well as execution of configurations and test cases in relation to all areas of financial accounting (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL) and controlling (cost center, orders, product cost controlling, calculations, COPA etc.)
• Support for existing processes in the area of SAP FI/CO/consolidation and identification of process improvements
• Contact person for automation possibilities in your own area of responsibility and support for existing solutions
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for implementation and test activities
• Clear presentation of technical topics or problems for technical and non-technical target groups Preparation and implementation of workshops and presentations
• Participation and involvement in the preparation and future implementation of SAP S/4HANA
• Project management for local and international SAP projects with a focus on SAP FI/CO close cooperation with other internal and external consultants and the international SAP business process experts

Your qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education
• Professional experience as a functional consultant in the area of finance, cost accounting and controlling
• Good knowledge of SAP standard processes in all areas of SAP FI/CO
• Basic understanding of SAP cross module processes (SD, CS, MM, PP)
• Several years of practical experience in customizing SAP FI/CO
• Knowledge in the design and modeling of business processes
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and in the management of SAP projects is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Self organized way of working and enjoy working in project teams
• Entrepreneurial and solution oriented thinking with conceptual and analytical skills in a global environment
• Willingness for international travel (approx. 10%)
• Business fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
