The Senior Security Advisor delivers strategic and operational security intelligence to protect the Sandoz Chairman, Board of Directors, CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and corporate reputation. The role provides actionable threat intelligence, geopolitical risk analysis, and authoritative security recommendations to enable safe executive travel, meetings, events, and leadership activity in complex and high‑risk environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Threat Intelligence & Risk Assessment
Lead OSINT‑driven threat collection and analysis affecting executive safety, corporate operations, and high‑risk travel.
Assess threat credibility and severity, escalates material risks, and recommends proportionate security measures, including modification or deferral of engagements.
Produce threat, vulnerability, and destination risk assessments to inform executive security planning and decision‑making.
Executive Travel, Events & Operational Support
Provide intelligence input to global executive travel risk management and high‑profile events.
Advise Executive Security and Regional Security teams on threat‑informed protective requirements.
Support secure executive travel, meetings, and events, including on‑site intelligence and operational support where required.
Executive Intelligence Advisory
Act as a trusted intelligence advisor to senior leaders through concise, decision‑focused briefings.
Deliver executive‑level intelligence assessments on geopolitical, security, and reputational risks impacting leadership activity.
Support the Head of Executive Security through independent development of protective intelligence products and pre‑event risk assessments.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Regional Security Directors, Investigations, and external security partners to ensure intelligence is operationally relevant.
Serve as a subject‑matter reference for intelligence‑led executive risk across Corporate Security and key stakeholders.
Maintain effective engagement with external intelligence providers and industry peers.
Capability & Governance
Contribute to the development and maturity of Corporate Security intelligence capabilities and standards.
Ensure intelligence outputs comply with governance, documentation, and ethical requirements.
Support wider Corporate Security activities as required (e.g., crisis management, investigations, protective security).
Travel requirement: approx. 15% travel within EMEA
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience within corporate security environment specializing in intelligence and threat management with at least 4 years experience in a Pharma corporate environment demonstrating knowledge of corporate security fundamentals, concepts, and techniques.
Extensive experience delivering intelligence and threat analysis in complex, multinational environments to executive level.
Demonstrated capability in executive‑level briefing, geopolitical risk analysis, and crisis support.
Experience supporting executive security and travel security operations in a corporate environment.
Demonstrated experience in Threat analysis and preparation of Threat & Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs).
Strong OSINT, threat analysis, and executive briefing capability in complex environments.
Background in security, military intelligence, government, or corporate intelligence functions.
Relevant degree or equivalent experience; security or intelligence certifications (e.g., CPP, CFE) preferred.
Fluent English; German desirable.
High integrity, discretion, and ability to operate in sensitive, high‑tempo situations.
