The Opportunity
Adobe is the industry leader in Experience Management. In Basel, we build Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), which helps our customers design, manage, and deliver exceptional experiences to power their digital businesses!
As Software Engineer in the AEM Cloud Foundation team, you will be involved in designing, implementing and operating the technical backbone of AEM Cloud Service. Faced with challenging computer science and software engineering problems, you will join a team of highly skilled software engineers, building innovative cloud-native services and operating them at scale.
What you need to succeed
Strong programming skills in JavaScript, with additional proficiency in Go and/or Python
Familiar with Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and deep understanding of Internet protocols: HTTP, TCP, DNS
Experience in cloud architecture and operations
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Bonus qualifications:
Experience with Kubernetes or other system orchestrators
Working experience with logging technologies (e.g., Loki, Elasticsearch)
What you'll Do
Contribute to a system that handles billions of content requests per day
Participating in all aspects of the software development process, applying the best software engineering and operations practices.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful adoption of services.
Fast prototyping and co-innovating with customers on the latest industry trends (including AI, MCP approaches)
