We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Bergheim. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in customer and software support, exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide second-level support for global software inquiries and managing requests via a ticketing system
- Support the worldwide rollout of software and updates, including the global coordination of PALSOFT license management
- Create, translate, and maintain software documentation
- Conduct software training sessions and manage software installations
- Provide valuable feedback to enhance and develop service software
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in technical support, customer service, or a similar helpdesk role, preferably at a Level 2
- Solid, completed education (e.g., high school diploma, technical college, etc.) with a focus on IT/computer science
- In-depth knowledge of software systems, troubleshooting techniques, and IT infrastructure; Technical knowledge of PALFINGER products and their control systems is anadvantage
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex technical issues independently
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
