For our client, a large mobility service and public transport company in Berlin, we are looking for you as Accounts Payable Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment with an option to be taken on .

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the comprehensive clarification of complex credit-related issues as well as the processing of all incoming supplier invoices in strict compliance with the applicable VOL regulations
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the detailed review of all invoiced contract components and the associated proof of performance in accordance with the current requirements of the Value Added Tax Act
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the professional implementation of invoice postings in the system, where you bear accounting responsibility for the entire process that goes far beyond mere preliminary entry
  • the clarification of differences and complaints between the internal ordering partyinternal customers, the respective service recipients, external suppliers and the purchasing department is also one of your tasks
  • as part of your work, you will support the continuous monitoring of discounts to ensure optimal liquidity planning and the professional processing of reminders and invoice enquiries from internal and external parties
  • you will also support the optimisation of existing processes within accounts payable and actively participate in cross-team collaboration to increase overall efficiency

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) as well as sound practical professional experience in auditing
  • In addition, you have extensive and in-depth experience in accounts payable in a larger company, which enables you to confidently process even very complex accounting transactions
  • Your sound knowledge of the SAP modules FI and MM as well as an experienced handling of the common MS Office applications characterise you particularly well for this position
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, are essential for daily communication with customers as well as the internal specialist departments and the internal sales team:customers as well as internal departments and external business partners
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of team spirit and a pronounced reliability in order to always achieve the common goals within the accounting department in a quality-conscious and timely manner
  • In addition to your professional expertise, you must also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany
