The App Store is the world's largest and most innovative software store, serving hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iMessage, and Mac customers. The team is seeking a dynamic, passionate and results-oriented business manager. In this role, you will work closely with cross functional teams to drive the App Store business by creating and executing business strategies and new initiatives.
Description
In this role, you will:
Lead day-to-day relationships with key developers, offering expertise to help them make better decisions in every aspect of their business, so that they are fully set up for success.
Run regular business reviews and product feature sessions with managed partners.
Ability to use metrics and best practices to look at third-party businesses and be able to provide well-informed guidance and insight as a result.
Track and report on the business performance of managed partners in regular reports and meetings.
Define the strategy and manage the apps and games business in close collaboration with the local & global management teams.
Be aware of upcoming and ongoing releases and collaborate with Editorial and Marketing to execute promotional campaigns.
Identify new market trends, business opportunities as well as key relationships to be developed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a deep passion for apps, mobile technology, and subscriptions.
- Extensive industry work experience in the mobile apps & games field.
- Deep knowledge of apps go-to-market processes, in-app purchases and subscriptions economics
- Ability to work in cross-functional projects with different teams at Apple, including the App Store, Marketing, WWDR, Review and Commerce.
- Understanding on how to use data and critical metrics to provide actionable insights for optimizing app monetization to product teams.
- Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects at a time.
- Excellent communication skills, social and relationship-building interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and working proficiency in German are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree education in relevant field desirable but candidates from all education backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- International travel will be required.
- Additional languages are a plus.
