Deep Tech Momentum (DTM) is powering the European Deep Tech Renaissance.

Our objective: catalyze €100 billion in additional venture capital for European Deep Tech and facilitate 10,000 partnerships between corporates and Deep Tech startups by 2030. To achieve this, we are developing Europe’s leading Deep Tech capital and customer acquisition marketplace as an online-offline flywheel: a business intelligence and matchmaking platform powered by Europe’s premier Deep Tech conference, Deep Tech Momentum.

Despite being a start-up, Deep Tech Momentum has achieved substantial traction in just three years. Over 70 Deep Tech funds, 50 corporate partners, and 1,000+ founders are already part of our ecosystem. Key partners include Lakestar, Vsquared, EIF, SAP, Elaia, HV Capital, Earlybird, Alpine Space Ventures, IQ Capital, McKinsey, EWOR, Continental, BASF, Isar Aerospace, and many other key players in Europe’s Deep Tech landscape.

DTM is at a pivotal moment. Just weeks after launching the company, we successfully closed our first funding round, partnered with over 50 tier-1 Deep Tech players for DTM25, and expanded our core team massively. This year, we organized Europe’s most impactful Deep Tech bootcamp, will launch the MVP of our platform, and lay the foundation for future investment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Drive and own DTM's entire revenue pipeline with a clear focus on maximizing sponsorship and ticket sales, meeting and exceeding sales quotas, and implementing effective land-and-expand strategies.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for DTM26, with specific goals for each revenue stream (partnerships, sponsorships, tickets).
  • Partnership Development: Identify, pursue, and close high-value partnerships, creating scalable frameworks for ongoing revenue growth.
  • Value Proposition: Co-design our market strategy and adapt the value proposition to our key customer groups: Deep Tech corporates, start-ups, scale-ups, and investors.
  • Brand: Refine our brand and drive recognition in Europe's tech ecosystem with an elevated website, impactful campaigns and a revised partnership approach.
  • Account Management: Contribute to our partners' success by partially supporting key accounts post-sales.
  • Leadership: Shape the future of DTM by co-designing the organization and its platform while working closely with the founders to deliver on DTM’s mission.

Requirements & Skills

You...

  • ...ideally have 3-5 years or more of revenue generation experience working with large conferences, platforms, marketplaces, VCs, Startups, etc.,
  • ...have already closed deals with enterprise customers and know how to navigate corporate procurement processes,
  • ...have consistently met or exceeded sales targets and can demonstrate a track record of closing five and six-figure deals with enterprise customers,
  • ...have a strong network in the start-up, investor, and/or corporate world and understand curating value propositions to these groups,
  • ...are able to quickly understand the customer's needs, end-to-end deal lifecycle experience, and tailor or create an offer,
  • ...have worked in an analytical, high-pace, high-service environment,
  • ...are able to create additional top-funnel partnership leads specifically from the corporate and service provider world,
  • ...have interest in Deep Tech verticals such as Novel AI, Bio Builders, New Space & Resilience, Clean Energy, Future of Computing, Advanced Materials, Smart Mobility, Robotics and more,
  • ...are comfortable working in a start-up environment where resources are tight, learning curves are steep, and you are the master of your own ship. ⛴️
