Clinical Operations Manager
Über diesen Job
Synagen builds specialized AI agents for healthcare and oncology, designed to support complex clinical decisions and biomedical workflows with actionable, high-precision outputs. We combine modern AI with clinical expertise to create software that integrates into real provider environments and delivers value in practice.
Aufgaben
Synagen builds AI agents for healthcare and oncology that integrate into real clinical workflows. As our Clinical Operations Manager, you will scale our clinical customer success by deeply understanding clinical users and ensuring our solutions are delivered, adopted, and used in day-to-day practice across hospitals and clinical practices. This is a delivery/adoption role (not quota-carrying sales).
This role combines two closely linked responsibilities:
- Project Management (approx. 40%): own and drive the delivery of clinical customer projects and ensure internal execution against external commitments
- Customer success (approx. 60%): build and run repeatable onboarding, training, and support processes that lead to real usage and long-term adoption in clinical workflows
What you will do
- Own end-to-end onboarding and delivery for hospitals and clinical practices
- Act as the internal driver of clinical projects by pushing priorities, timelines, and decisions across product, data, and medical teams
- Take ownership when projects stall and ensure execution despite competing internal priorities
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to meet clinical partner expectations
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies and escalate early when delivery is at risk
- Lead go-live, training, and rollout in real clinical environments
- Serve as the primary operational contact for clinical customers after go-live
- Ensure activation, engagement, and continued usage in day-to-day clinical workflows (e.g. tumor boards)
- Identify adoption blockers and drive their resolution with internal teams
- Collect structured feedback from clinicians and translate it into actionable input for product and operations
- Track and report key customer success metrics such as activation, usage, and retention
- Regular on-site visits to partner hospitals/practices (Germany/occasionally EU); travel could be a significant part of your work time, depending on rollout phase.
Qualifikation
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to push execution internally
- High empathy for clinical users and understanding of hospital and practice realities
- Structured, reliable, and hands-on working style
- Confident communicator who can align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
Required experience
- 3+ years experience in clinical operations, healthcare project management, customer success, or similar roles
- Hands-on experience working with hospitals or clinical practices
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional execution and deliver against deadlines
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and parallel projects
- Fluency in German and English
Good to have
- Experience in digital health or clinical software
- Exposure to oncology workflows or tumor boards
- Experience working in early-stage startups or scale-ups
Why us?
- Real-world impact in oncology: You help bring AI into everyday clinical practice by enabling successful rollouts, training, and sustained adoption where accuracy and trust matter
- High ownership across delivery and adoption: You shape how we onboard, support, and scale clinical customers end-to-end – from first kickoff to long-term usage in tumor boards and daily routines
- Cross-functional influence: You work at the center of product, data, medical, and customer teams and translate clinical realities into execution and product improvements
- Fast learning curve in a small, highly technical team: Direct access to decision-makers, fast iteration, and measurable outcomes in real hospitals and practices
- Berlin office with hybrid flexibility (up to 3 days/week remote)
