Purpose of the position
The Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team within Global IT is the central data and analytics partner for Ottobock's global business. You will work closely with business data owners, analysts, and data scientists in cross-functional data product teams to implement data-based solutions
You will support the implementation of our Azure-based data infrastructure in close cooperation with our data/platform architects
You develop modern data pipelines with common tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
You connect new (internal and external) data sources to our Azure Data Lake
You monitor existing data pipelines and optimize their performance
You contribute your own ideas and feel confident in a dynamic team environment
profile
Master's degree in computer science or a comparable quantitative field
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with the Azure Data Engineering Tech Stack or comparable technologies in AWS or GCP
Experience with Python and data science/machine learning-related libraries
Practical experience with Databricks is an advantage
Solid knowledge of general software development, including DevOps and Git workflows
Experience in working with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with SAP BW is a plus
Very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is an advantage
Self-organized working methods and the willingness to continuously develop yourself complete your profile
