Deputy Head of Application and Web Development (techhub)
For our team specialized in the open source development technologies PHP, Java, Python, Javascript and others we are looking for a deputy manager (m/f/d) for our office in Berlin.
Our SaaS products include geoinformation systems, data products and web applications, machine learning according to modern standards.
This is basically a position with a 40-hour week.
Your area of responsibility:
- Management of the various application and development teams of up to 100 employees
- Coordination of the tasks of the teams and the contracted service providers, including budget planning, life cycle management, documentation and knowledge transfer
- IT multi-project management as well as control and coordination of internal and external stakeholders
- Support in the implementation and further development of future-proof SaaS solutions, especially in the field of geoinformation
What you bring with you:
- High level of creativity and social skills
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a managerial position
- Organizational talent, sense of responsibility and communication skills
- Experience in the development of cloud systems (XaaS) and interest in big data projects
- Basic knowledge of business administration and strong problem-solving skills
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
