As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will develop new, innovative products for the international automotive industry.
Location: Berlin
Type of Contract: Permanent position at our client; no staff leasing
Your Duties
- As a Digital Design Engineer, you will develop new, innovative products for the international automotive industry.
- You will be actively involved in the development of chip architecture and the definition of hardware-software interfaces.
- You will develop digital circuit components using common description languages such as VHDL or Verilog.
- You will validate the designs and document the results in a structured manner.
- You will carry out simulations at block and system level to check functionality.
- You will create software for microcontrollers that supports digital functions.
- You will participate in error analysis and contribute to the optimization of development processes.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics or a comparable field of study
- Several years of professional experience in microelectronics development, ideally in the semiconductor industry / IC design
- Experience in the automotive industry or its suppliers is desirable
- Sound knowledge of integrated digital circuit technology and CAD tools
- Experience in modeling technical systems (e.g. VHDL and SystemVerilog)
- Knowledge of micro-controllers (e.g. ARM) and their programming
- Very good knowledge of English
