Engineer (m/f/d) for Automation in Battery Research
Your Tasks
- You will design a robot-supported sample changer system for battery cells in cooperation with scientific partners.
- You will design, build and test a prototype of the system and assist scientific investigations on battery materials.
- You will design and program the software to control the system in cooperation with our IT specialists.
- You will plan and supervise the production of a scaled-up system by external service providers.
- You will create the documentation for the system.
- Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Long-term practical experience in the automation of scientific measuring systems or production systems
- Very good CAD skills and good programming skills in Python, LabVIEW or C++
- Very good command of written and spoken German & English
- Ability to work independently and in a team, intercultural competence, open-mindedness and creativity, and commitment
