You are a proactive and detail-oriented working student looking for a unique opportunity to gain practical experience across a broad spectrum of finance and accounting topics in a dynamic, fast-paced technology environment.

Main objectives of the role
You will work closely with the Finance Director and the rest of the finance team, contributing directly to the fundamental processes that support our strategic and finance ambitions.

Your role and responsibilities

Finance operations: driving foundational finance activities, with a focus on customer billing, expense management, and liquidity management (e.g. payment run preparations).

Accounting: supporting the month-end and year-end accounting cycles for our German and American
legal entities.

Process and system optimization: contributing to various process optimisation projects within the finance function, including AI & software implementation.

Financial planning & analysis: assisting with the preparation of recurring and ad-hoc financial reports (e.g. monthly financial reviews) as well as the preparation of the monthly forecast updates and the annual budgeting cycle.

What you need to succeed in this role:

• Enrollment as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in German GAAP (HGB) or IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (esp. MS Excel / G-Sheets) ; previous exposure to an ERP system (e.g. MS Dynamics) or an expense management tool (e.g. Moss or Yokoy) is a plus.
• Fluency in English; German is a strong plus.
• Availability to work 15–20 hours per week during the semester.
