KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a Global Key User - Master Data (GKU MD) (m/f/d) with focus on data governance to join an international MD team responsible for the full global master data scope of KWS Group. As the Global Key User, you will play a key role in governing, standardizing, and continuously improving master data processes across the organization, supporting global operations, production, and supply chain excellence. You will act as a system expert, driving digitalization, automation, and best-in-market data governance practices.

This is a full-time position initially limited to 2 years and based in Berlin.

Your Tasks:

• Govern global master data standards and processes, ensuring alignment with best‑in‑market practices, compliance requirements, and scalable digital governance principles.
• Act as a GBO Key User and system expert for major master data domains (Vendor, Customer, Material, Production) in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant master data through automated checks, digital workflows, and robust governance across systems and interfaces.
• Lead end‑to‑end master data lifecycle management (creation, changes, harmonization), embedding automation and digital solutions for efficiency and standardization.
• Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to ensure seamless system integrations, source‑of‑truth concepts, and future‑proof data structures during the S/4HANA transformation.
• Define and monitor data quality KPIs, implement automated controls, and maintain documentation aligned with audit requirements and industry-leading standards.
• Map end‑to‑end master data processes, including risk and control points, ensuring adherence to internal controls and global governance policies.
• Act as an escalation point for complex governance topics, balancing technical constraints with business needs.
• Create and maintain governance guidelines, process documentation, and training materials reflecting best‑in‑class practices.

Your Profile:

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Management, or a related field.
• Professional experience within global, multi‑entity organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Extensive experience in global process governance and Master Data Management.
• Strong expertise in governance frameworks, data quality management, and risk & control environments.
• Deep understanding of master data dependencies and cross‑functional impact on global business processes.
• Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to enforce governance standards globally.
• Solid hands‑on knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data, including integrations, interfaces, and data flows in complex landscapes.
• Ability to analyze, structure, and visualize data and process flows effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on digitalization and automation opportunities.
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Fluent in English. German or another European language is an advantage.
• Experience in agriculture, production, manufacturing, or supply‑chain‑driven environments is a strong advantage.
