Über diesen Job
Our mission
Founded in 2022, “Your City” charity fund is a Ukrainian international foundation working in the field of healthcare. We provide life-saving medicines, medical and psychological assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war — including veterans and their families, internally displaced persons, civilians, and other vulnerable groups.
Over the past years, tens of thousands of people have received essential medications as well as medical and psychological support through our programs. Our team includes licensed doctors, pharmacists, and psychologists, and our projects are implemented in close cooperation with international partners and donors. Our mission is to protect health and human dignity where help is critically needed.
We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer / Fundraising Specialist to help scale our impact through international fundraising. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates worldwide (with a strong focus on Europe and Germany). Knowledge of Ukrainian is not required. Occasional familiarization visits to Ukraine may be arranged to better understand ongoing and future projects.
You will work closely with the Foundation’s leadership, contribute to fundraising strategy, prepare grant applications, and build long-term relationships with international donors. This role has a direct impact on how many people receive medical and psychological care.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Research & Engagement: Identify and approach international donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations; build and maintain professional relationships.
Fundraising Activities: Participate in planning and implementing online and offline fundraising initiatives together with the Foundation’s leadership.
Grant Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess grant opportunities relevant to healthcare, medical aid, and mental health support.
Grant Writing: Prepare high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents in close cooperation with the project team.
Reporting & Donor Stewardship: Support project monitoring, prepare donor reports, and ensure transparent and timely communication with grant providers.
Requirements
Proven experience in grant writing and/or fundraising, with successful funding outcomes.
Excellent written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of German or other European languages is an advantage.
Solid understanding of international donor requirements and grant procedures.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Strong alignment with the Foundation’s mission and genuine interest in humanitarian healthcare.
Willingness to travel occasionally (by agreement) for project or donor visits.
What We Offer
Fully remote and flexible working format.
Meaningful work with direct humanitarian and medical impact.
Collaboration with a committed, professional international team.
Compensation based on a commission model — percentage of funds raised (terms discussed individually).
Coverage of approved travel expenses and opportunities for professional development
Join us in transforming international support into life-saving medical and psychological care for Ukrainians who need it most.
