Head of Purchasing and Logistics (m/f/d) in Berlin

Areas of responsibility:

• Responsibility for communicating with suppliers, particularly regarding price negotiations, volume planning, and coordinating delivery dates and terms
• Ensuring a timely supply of materials and a smooth production process
• Handling of complaints, as well as conducting and refining supplier evaluations
• Close collaboration with related departments to optimize the procurement strategy
• Professional and disciplinary leadership, as well as team development (including feedback and goal-setting meetings)
• Creating and reviewing purchase orders and order confirmations
• Planning, managing, and optimizing warehouse processes and workflows
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Conducting inventory counts and actively managing inventory
• Coordination of material flows between purchasing, warehousing, and shipping

Requirements:

• Completed business training or a comparable degree program
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and/or logistics, ideally with management experience
• Strong leadership skills and experience in motivating and developing teams
• Proficient communication skills
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
