Tasks
- Handle day-to-day HR administration and office operation for the Germany branch and regional support team, including employee lifecycle management (onboarding, contract changes, offboarding).
- Prepare, review, and manage employment contracts, amendments, certificates, and HR documentation in compliance with German labor law.
- Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR and administrative matters for Berlin office.
- Support payroll preparation by coordinating with external payroll providers and ensuring data accuracy.
- Manage absences, sick leave, vacation records, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with German labor law, internal HR policies, and group standards.
- Support the Head of Regional HR Europe in regional HR and administration-related projects, such as organizational changes, process optimization, and HR digitalization initiatives.
- Assist with personnel measures including probation reviews, contract terminations, and disciplinary processes in coordination with regional HR and legal advisors.
- Coordinate communication with works councils, external advisors, and authorities when required.
- Support recruitment administration, including interview coordination, documentation, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update HR systems, personnel files, and internal HR reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in HR administration or HR operations, preferably in an international company.
- Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience working with external payroll providers and HR service partners.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Hands-on, service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent in German and English languages (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems is an advantage.
