Why can this position be exciting for you?

The Customer Success Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our institutional partners unlock the full value of AMBOSS. By supporting new customer onboarding, solving technical access needs, and addressing institutional users issues, this role helps embed AMBOSS into daily clinical and teaching routines. Strategically, the position strengthens customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success Ronald, the Customer Success Specialist will help support our International and US customers and the respective Sales Managers, contributing to our revenue and internationalization company goals.

You will:

  • Support medical schools and clinics worldwide in achieving success with AMBOSS by contributing to better teaching and informed clinical decision-making.

  • Manage, prioritize and effectively address a wide array of requests from our B2B Sales Team in order to support the retention and growth of our customers, always keeping the experience and value our users get from AMBOSS at the center.

  • Effectively set up the different access methods for AMBOSS and articulate their advantages and disadvantages based on specific customer situations.

  • Guide institutions through a smooth AMBOSS launch by ensuring access is set up on time, coordinating communication strategies and campaigns, and creating clear external instructions that highlight AMBOSS’s value and explain how to activate institutional licenses.

  • Drive activation of AMBOSS licenses and trials by executing targeted outreach campaigns, monitoring performance, and evaluating impact through usage data and survey insights.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer adoption patterns, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations that support institutional success and long-term engagement.

  • Partner with the B2B Sales Team to plan and execute migrations between access methods, ensuring the chosen approach aligns with institutional needs and minimizes friction for users.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing and other departments to support customers better.

You bring:

  • Ideally you have previous experience in account management or customer success (1-2y or an internship) combined with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a relevant field.

  • You are an outstanding communicator, both in writing and verbally. You can break down complex topics to their essence and communicate them appropriately based on your audience.

  • You are able to build rapport with stakeholders across different countries and seniority levels through a mix of authenticity and openness, competence, and clear communication.

  • You have a project management mindset and are able to independently organize your work to ensure you deliver in time and quality, even for more complex projects.

  • You possess an analytical mindset and an affinity for numbers that allows you to interpret usage analytics and derive relevant insights for our customers.

  • You have an eye for efficiency and contribute to continuously improving our internal processes and materials.
