We at home24 are working closely with our partner companies within the GIGA purchasing group to revolutionize the way product data are being handled. Every year, hundreds of thousands of products are newly onboarded by us and our partners. Those articles need to be integrated quickly and efficiently into our systems. The backbone of this process is a robust and well-structured product data model.

As our (Junior) Product & Data Governance Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in building and managing this model, ensuring that product data onboarding and management becomes simple, reliable, and actionable across the entire network.

• You design, govern and continuously improve the central product taxonomy which serves as backbone of our data model
• You define and manage the central attribute pool, including types, formats, logics, and product type assignments, ensuring that all data needs from our partner companies are covered
• You establish and maintain centralized value lists (eg materials, colors, certifications) and manage their lifecycle
• You gather and integrate new data requirements from our partner companies, whether additional attributes or value lists, into the model, ensuring it remains consistent, clear, and not overly complex
• You align requirements across business, tech, compliance, and external stakeholders, balancing diverse needs while safeguarding model integrity

• University degree in Data Management, Information Science, Business or a related field; specialization in taxonomy design or PIM/MDM is a plus
• First professional experience in product data governance, data modeling, or product information systems, ideally in a retail or multi-stakeholder environment
• Solid understanding of taxonomy and attribute structures, data quality rules, and validation methods; experience with AI-driven solutions is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with structured and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
• Fluency in English and good German skills (at least B1 level)

• Hybrid working model: you have the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays in our standard working mode. We are in the office together on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
