The role
As a Senior Product Analyst, you are an all-rounder who thrives equally working on technical topics as well as value-delivery through insights, presentation and data visualisation. Your extensive experience and knowledge across technical and business related topics enables you to work "end to end” with a high level of quality and scalability as well as driving best practices within the Product Analytics community. The focus of this role is HelloFresh’s core digital product experience globally for active customers. You will not only work proactively to identify common needs and pain points and inform solutions, but also partner with the product team to analytically support development and strategy from ideation to execution and iteration.
You will be joining a global team of fourteen data professionals (analysts, scientists and engineers) as the analytics support arm of HelloFresh’s Global Actives team, championing the active customer through business, marketing and product strategy and analytics. This is a central focus for the company going forward. Additionally, you will be a part of the greater data organization, giving you access to mentorship and expertise from all parts of the business.
What you’ll do
- Be accountable for your teams’ data catalogue and delivery documentation
- Collaborate from a technical perspective with data product managers and data engineers to create reusable data products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives while utilising project management skills to plan and execute data-driven projects.
- Partner widely across the Senior Product organisation (Product, Software Engineering, UX leads) to set strategic priorities and promote a culture rooted in evidence-based decision making.
- Communicate actionable insights clearly across the organisation highlighting the "so-whats” of your analyses in order to drive the growth of our business.
- Explore and analyse customer behaviour and product performance data in order to detect growth opportunities for the HelloFresh digital product by improving user experience.
- Identify opportunities for cutting-edge approaches and tooling, including GenAI, within the product and/or analytics space.
- Guide and mentor other Product Analysts within our team, defining best practices and providing support to help individuals and the team grow in effectiveness
- Review as a technical expert the implementations of multiple teams across domains, continuously improving the deliverables of your teams
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally including having worked closely with product teams for at least 4 years.
- Excellent technical skills applying expert level SQL and Python for both analysis and efficient manipulation of large data sets.
- Expert level knowledge of data visualisation tools like Tableau which we use to create compelling visualisations to convey complex data. Experience with MixPanel or a similar tool is a plus.
- Extensive experience working with product stakeholders in setting up A|B or multivariate experiments, interpreting results and deep diving to understand the impact of particular experiments.
- A demonstrated ability to use GenAI to solve problems and/or create efficiency within the product and/or analytics space is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, taking complex business problems, articulating these as analytical problems and presenting your findings in a clear and precise way.
- Extensive leadership of complex projects, capability building within your team, and through mentorship or direct people management.
