We are looking for a Lead Engineer in Test (f/d/m), who is familiar with the in-and-outs of modern QA Engineering and is searching for a new opportunity where they can make an impact.

As a Lead Engineer in Test (f/d/m), you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. If you’re passionate about finding the perfect balance between delivery and quality, continuous improvement, and collaborative teamwork, we’d love to hear from you!

Your tasks & Responsibilities

- Lead and Redefine QA Processes: Champion a mindset that prioritizes quality across the organization. Define and refine QA processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- DevOps Mindset: As the Lead Engineer in Test, you’ll embody the ‘You build it, you run it, you fix it’ philosophy. Collaborating closely with our IT and SRE teams, you’ll take full ownership of the QA lifecycle.
- Requirements Validation: Collaborate closely with IT and Product teams as equal partners in the software design to validate product requirements, feasibility, and optimal testing approaches.
- Manual and Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium and Browserstack. Additionally, perform manual testing to thoroughly validate features and identify any bugs or defects.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Leadership: As a lead test engineer, you’ll guide and inspire your team members, helping them grow and excel in their roles.

Your profile

- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of leading or participating in the transformation toward modern QA Engineering.
- Mindset: Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, this role thrives on challenging the status quo, embracing change, and fostering a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Collaboration: Strong team player who values collaboration over individual achievements.
- Highly analytical: With a curiosity to delve behind the scenes – examining logs, scrutinizing code, querying databases, and assessing Jenkins pipelines.
- Commitment: Highly committed to delivering high-quality software.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Java.
- Experience with Selenium for test automation.
- Familiarity with Browserstack or similar tools.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
