In the Liquidity domain, we help corporate clients run their businesses with less friction and more confidence. Our Statements application gives clients clear, timely insight into their financial activity -delivering accurate account statements and reporting that support smarter cash‑management decisions.

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will drive the quality strategy for the Statements application, leading testing processes, automation, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality releases.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and drive QA processes. Work with the development team to establish quality requirements and set up an effective, scalable testing process.

• Design test coverage. Create and maintain functional, regression, and integration test cases to ensure high product reliability.

• Lead test automation. Oversee, create, maintain, and execute automated test suites, ensuring they remain stable and relevant as the system evolves.

• Manage test issues and risks. Track defects, assess risks, and provide clear reporting for compliance and audit needs.

• Maintain test environments. Ensure environments are available, up‑to‑date, and aligned with testing needs.

• Contribute to releases and improvements. Work closely with the development team on release management and continuous process improvement.

Your skills and experiences

• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, ideally in complex backend or financial systems

• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and building or maintaining automated test suites

• Strong UNIX/Linux and Bash skills for test execution, environment checks, and troubleshooting

• Practical experience with Java; Kotlin is a strong plus

• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and test analysis

• Solid understanding of software development and testing processes, including CI/CD and release pipelines

• Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage
