At Government & Regulatory Affairs you'll support our positioning towards key policy-makers of relevance for IBM´s business objectives, support outreach and events and support the growth of IBM´s business (policy-led growth).

Your role and responsibilities

As a Student Intern you will be employed by IBM as part of your academic program or during university breaks. This role is designed for students who are looking to gain professional experience while pursuing their education. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing content support for the creation of briefings, position papers, and presentations

• Providing content support for the evaluation of political strategies and project examples

• Providing organizational support for political events with the participation of IBM executives

• Supporting the strategic target group outreach for Government & Regulatory Affairs

In the Government & Regulatory Affairs team at IBM in Germany, you will gain experience in political work, working closely with colleagues in other European capitals, Brussels, and Washington, D.C. You will also collaborate with teams from other areas, such as event organization, marketing, and communications.

What You Can Expect from Master@IBM study&work

·. 15h for IBM: 1st year with € 1,045; 2nd year € 1,363; 3rd year with €1,510

Required education

· Completed Bachelor's degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Social and Communication Sciences, or Economics

· Initial practical experience in a political environment, e.g., in the Bundestag, consulting, or communications

· Fluent German; very good English skills (both written and spoken)

· Good knowledge of virtual collaboration and presentation software is desirable.

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Prior experience in the tech industry or in dealing with technology topics
