To strengthen our team in Medical Controlling, we are looking for a committed and assertive personality to work independently on Medical Service (MD) reports as soon as possible . The work can be carried out across all locations - close coordination with the facilities supported is essential.

This position is being sought at Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch.

• Independent examination and evaluation of MD reports with regard to their medical and formal plausibility
• Drafting well-founded objections to incomprehensible MD reports
• Independent implementation of discussion procedures and negotiations with health insurance companies
• Communication and coordination with doctors and the coding department to optimize documentation and billing quality
• Reflecting the findings of the reports to the specialist departments for continuous improvement
• Analysis of results and regular reporting to the medical controlling department and hospital management

• Completed medical training or studies with several years of professional experience in a clinical environment
• Very good knowledge of the G-DRG system and the applicable coding and billing rules
• Strong medical expertise and the ability to analyze complex issues in a structured manner
• Confident negotiating manner and convincing communication skills - especially in dealings with payers
• High level of personal responsibility, goal orientation and an efficient, structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to collaborate across locations
