Your mission as a Payroll & Benefits Manager (all genders) will be to ensure our compensation & benefits processes and administration set up is up to date and super efficient! You will be managing and overseeing all our payroll activities, and will serve as the main contact point for our team for all their questions regarding pay policies & procedures. You will be part of the People & Culture team and will be an integral part of ensuring our workforce stays happy, motivated and paid on time!

• Process regular payroll information, as well as bonuses and off-cycle checks when necessary
• Oversee payroll within our German entity
• Continuous optimization of processes and procedures in cooperation with Finance team and external service providers
• Ensure our benefits are well accounted for from a law/ tax perspective
• Be the main contact point in the relationship with our suppliers on payroll and benefits topics
• Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage/tax laws, and applies changes as appropriate
• Perform overtime audits as needed
• Responds to questions regarding pay policies/procedures
• Prepare payroll and benefits relevant reports for upper management, finance department etc.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external

• 2-4 years of payroll processing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Know-how in German payroll related legislation
• Experience with payroll software and payroll reporting systems (preferably Paychex)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communications, organizational, and time-management skills required

• Fluent in both English&German

• Du bearbeitest die regelmäßige Gehaltsabrechnung sowie Boni und Sonderzahlungen außerhalb des üblichen Zyklus

• Du betreust die Payroll für unsere deutsche Gesellschaft

• Du optimierst laufend Prozesse und Abläufe gemeinsam mit unserem Finance Team und externen Dienstleistern

• Du stellst sicher, dass unsere Benefits aus steuerlicher und rechtlicher Sicht korrekt abgerechnet werden

• Du bist die zentrale Ansprechperson für unsere Dienstleister rund um Payroll und Benefits

• Du bleibst über gesetzliche Änderungen im Lohnsteuer- und Sozialversicherungsrecht auf dem Laufenden und setzt diese um

• Du führst bei Bedarf Überstundenprüfungen durch

• Du beantwortest Fragen zu unseren Gehalts- und Abrechnungsrichtlinien

• Du erstellst relevante Auswertungen und Reports für das Management und unser Finanzteam

• Du pflegst eine positive und serviceorientierte Zusammenarbeit – intern wie extern

• 2–4 Jahre Erfahrung in der Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Fundiertes Wissen über das deutsche Lohnsteuer- und Sozialversicherungsrecht

• Erfahrung mit Payroll-Software und Reporting-Tools (idealerweise Paychex)

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office, vor allem Excel

• Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie Organisations- und Zeitmanagementtalent

• Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch (Unsere offizielle Firmensprache ist Englisch)
