Your Challenge:

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to become the trusted partner for our international team, owning a wide range of exciting and impactful people topics as well as the daily business for Operations.

In this key role, you will help shape and scale Blacklane’s growth with care and excellence. You’ll be in the driver’s seat when it comes to creating a seamless, inspiring employee experience—ensuring every Blacklaner feels supported, empowered, and set up for success from day one.

Your responsibilities:

• Be the trusted go‑to partner for colleagues at all levels, delivering clear, thoughtful guidance across people operations topics—whether in person, on Slack, or via Jira
• Own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, from crafting employment contracts and managing changes to smooth onboardings and offboardings
• Design, run, and continuously improve People Ops processes around the globe, tools, EOR, for the entities and systems to support a growing, international workforce
• Turn data into impact by building reports and introducing smart processes that simplify work for employees—and for our People and Culture Team
• Lead and contribute to cross‑functional HR projects that move the business forward
• Ensure global compliance with confidence, setting up reliable checks and safeguards across regions
• Create a memorable first impression by managing new‑hire orientation, global onboarding, and training programs
• Actively shape and live our company values, fostering behaviors that strengthen culture and collaboration

About You:

• You have at least 2 years of experience as HR Admin, People Operations Specialist, or in a similar role in, primarily in international work environments
• You have excellent knowledge of German (and international) labour law, as well as social security and income tax law
• You have a hands-on mentality as well as an independent, structured and precise way of working
• You have an open and trusting personality
• You have excellent communication skills and full working proficiency in English, other languages are a plus
• You have a great sense of humor and love what you do
