Über diesen Job
Nox is aiming to become the best alternative to short-haul flights by soon offering premium overnight trains across Europe. With a radically redesigned interior and onboard experience, people travel in style, saving time being asleep. We now search for the most passionate and talented people out there to bring the first of many more Nox trains on the tracks.
We believe in strong teams through diversity, fresh thinking, and a shared commitment to build something meaningful. Apart from that, these things are important to us:
- Stay real. From intern to CEO, everyone will work at least two cabin crew shifts a year
- Own it. Take responsibility from day one to shape Nox with your personal touch
- Challenge. Question legacy thinking and push ideas that really excite our customers
We care about strong, data-informed thinking and clear communication, but just as much about building a team with diverse perspectives and experiences. We especially encourage individuals who are usually underrepresented in traditional industries and business contexts, creating a more inclusive and balanced environment for the whole team.
If you’re curious about how people make decisions and enjoy turning data into real business impact, this role could be for you. As a Pricing Manager (f/m/d), you will own and optimize our pricing strategy—steering algorithms, testing market approaches, and building a dynamic system that balances customer behavior with business performance.
Tasks
- Oversee and steer: You are the key person to monitor and adjust our pricing algorithms, systems and how customers see it
- Automate and improve price-market fits: Cohort customers, test ancillary strategies, conduct testing, moving towards autonomous pricing for Nox
- Differentiate between assumptions and real-life customer actions and make sure to build a truly dynamic and non-biased system, balancing load factor and yield
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in Pricing, Yield Management, Growth Analytics or a similar field, ideally at an industry leading operator or agency
- You are passionate about how people decide for themselves, through price, bundles, value-added services and more, even if they mean short-term revenue loss
- You understand ancillary services as a true value creator, not only to gain short-term topline growth
- You strongly leverage AI-tools at the right spot to boost your work and connect it to building stronger pricing and revenue management environments
Benefits
- A small, young and powerful team with diverse backgrounds, visions and skills
- A culture built on flat hierarchies, zero corporate politics and plenty of room for you to grow
- A chance to build one of the most influential products in European mobility and hospitality
- A competitive start-up salary combined with employee stock options
- A lot of new things. If you love the unknown and can adapt quickly, you’ll have tons of fun with us
- A free contingent of Nox rides in the future, Nextbike subscription, strong Travel discounts as well as choice of either Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or sport reimbursements.
Please don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back; we value your passion and potential more than a perfect match with every requirement. Even if you don’t meet every single criterion, we still encourage you to apply.
Please note: All positions require fluent English unless stated otherwise; additional languages are a plus.
Along with your CV, please include your salary expectations, earliest possible start date, and your answer to the following question in your motivational letter or application email:
Why does Nox need to exist - and why are you the right person to help build it? (max. 3–4 sentences)
