The morning starts with a stand-up meeting with the development team about the current product improvement activity. You explain a new functionality required to the product you hAave elaborated in meetings with various customers.
In the multi-functional team you set the priorities for the next planning intervals, with the success of your business plan in view. In the afternoon you plan the early marketing of the new product with Sales. Join other Product Managers to discuss trends and share insights on overcoming technical challenges.
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Responsible for the complete lifecycle of specific gas insulated high voltage switchgears.
• Listen to and understand market trends, customer, and partner feedback, evaluate product opportunities
• Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products.
• Create and maintain business plans to define the most rewarding product developments
• Define development activities for portfolio optimization, specify their requirements and supervise their realization
• Create product strategy and define the product development roadmap
• Assure smooth factory and market introduction of portfolio optimizations
• Enable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforce
• Monitor product performance and trigger ongoing improvements

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in product management, technical sales, project management or commissioning of switchgears
• Knowledge of high voltage switchgears and their components
• Expertise in market introduction of products in collaboration with global sales organizations
• Basic skills in business administration, marketing, negotiation techniques and presentation techniques
• International experience either outside of the home country or in a global organization is a plus
• Demonstrating proactive, dynamic, and conclusive qualities, along with strong social skills as a standout colleague
• Excellent communication skills in English, German language skills are an advantage
