This role is situated within the Chief Technology Office (CTO), a critical component of Deutsche Bank's Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division, which spearheads the bank's digital transformation. You will play a pivotal role in the Security Monitoring & Remediation (SM&R) pillar, whose vision is to build proactive and automated capabilities to manage evolving cyber threats. Your work will directly enhance the bank's ability to detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents, fortifying our defenses through an adaptive, agile, and highly automated approach to threat management.
The Security Monitoring and Remediation (SM&R) Program Delivery Lead (f/m/x) is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the successful execution and continuous improvement of the SM&R program. This individual will establish and mature program governance, optimize project management processes, enhance stakeholder communication, and lead a high-performing team to achieve key security objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in cybersecurity program management, a proven ability to lead and motivate teams, and a commitment to delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities
Program Governance & Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and continuously mature robust governance frameworks and standardized project management processes to ensure consistent, transparent, and efficient delivery of the SM&R program's objectives.
Strategic Project & Program Leadership: Oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful completion of all SM&R projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource allocation, and timely delivery.
Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Act as a central point of contact, providing clear, proactive communication on program status, performance, risks, and financial health to leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders, including the PMO.
Risk & Performance Management: Establish mechanisms for rigorous tracking, reporting, and proactive management of program risks, project performance metrics, and financial aspects, ensuring rapid identification and escalation of issues.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project management team, fostering a collaborative and engaged environment while addressing skill gaps and driving continuous professional growth.
Your skills and experiences
A track record of Cybersecurity Program Leadership with several years of progressive experience in cybersecurity program or project management, with significant exposure to security operations, monitoring, and remediation environments.
Several years in a leadership or management capacity, including direct supervision and development of project management professionals or similar teams.
Governance & Process Expertise with demonstrated success in establishing, maturing, and enforcing program governance frameworks and standardized project management methodologies.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, influencing stakeholders and managing expectations effectively.
Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles, technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR), and best practices relevant to security monitoring and incident response.
