Research Associate (m/f/d) in the Emmy Noether research group OrgXeMet with expected 67% part-time employment - E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funding limited until 4th June 2028)

Job description:

• scientific services in research in the Emmy Noether-Project OrgXeMet: Organoxenon Compounds as Versatile Oxidizers in Organometallic Chemistry
• opportunity to work towards further scientific qualification (Ph.D.)

Requirements:

• completed scientific university education in chemistry or a closely related field with a solid background in synthetic inorganic and/or organometallic chemistry (including recent graduates)
• experience with inert atmosphere techniques (e.g. Schlenk line, glovebox) is required, as well as experience with common characterization techniques (NMR, MS, IR, etc.)
• experience in inorganic fluorine chemistry is an asset, but not mandatory
• a high level of English proficiency is essential (at least B2), whereas no knowledge of German is required
• high motivation, demonstrate teamwork skills and willingness to learn new techniques are expected
