Your area of responsibility

Providing support to the management of the authority and those responsible for occupational safety and accident prevention in matters relating to occupational safety, accident prevention and workplace safety,
The implementation of occupational safety and accident prevention measures,
Advice and support in carrying out risk assessments,
The performance of duties in accordance with Section 8 of the Dangerous Goods Officer Ordinance (GbV),
Monitoring compliance with regulations on the transport of dangerous goods,
Advising the management of the authority and its organizational units on all relevant issues relating to the transport of dangerous goods,
Support for the departments of the authority whose task is the transport of dangerous goods,
The responsibility for implementing appropriate immediate measures in the event of accidents or incidents in the dangerous goods sector,
The preparation of control reports, accident reports according to ADR and annual reports according to GbV.
your qualification
You have a completed Bachelor's degree in engineering or a comparable field of study and many years of practical experience, or are employed by other individuals with equivalent knowledge and skills who perform corresponding activities and have many years of practical experience. Furthermore, you have successfully completed a state-recognized additional training course that qualifies you to work as a safety engineer (§ 7 ASiG, § 4 [2] DGUV-V 2).
Qualification as a dangerous goods safety advisor or willingness to complete the corresponding training is desirable.

Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and implementing regulations such as the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) regulations, the DGUV rulebook and the Occupational Safety and Health Act,
Knowledge in the areas of fire and environmental protection as well as occupational medicine,
A flexible, structured and independent way of working,
Confident demeanor and strong communication skills, as well as convincing advice and clear presentation of one's point of view in speech and writing,
Confident handling of standard Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
The willingness to regularly participate in further training and similar courses to keep your professional knowledge up to date,
A goal- and results-oriented approach to work, which complements your profile.
