How will you make an impact:

The Cloud Consultant at TRKKN plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of Google Cloud & AI solutions for our clients. As a trusted advisor, the Cloud Consultant leverages their deep understanding of cloud technologies and the digital marketing landscape to translate client needs into technical requirements, design innovative solutions, and guide clients through their cloud journey. This role combines pre-sales activities with ongoing client relationship management, ensuring client success and fostering long-term partnerships. The Cloud Consultant is a key contributor to TRKKN's growth as a Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud Service partner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Pre-Sales Engagement

  • Manage and lead pre-sales engagements, acting as the driving force to secure new business by leading the customer through the Cloud sales funnel. Starting at a customer request, nurturing the client interest, all the way to managing the creation of a statement of work for a specific project.

  • Support potential clients in identifying and prioritizing relevant use cases for TRKKN's Cloud solutions.

  • Deliver compelling pre-sales presentations and technical deep dives, clearly articulating the value and intricacies of TRKKN’s Cloud offerings to diverse audiences.

  • Understand business requirements of our clients and translate them into compelling Cloud service offerings.

Pre-Sales Process Management

  • Qualify incoming pre-sales requests and manage pre-sales engagements effectively.

  • Be responsible for collecting and maintaining sales-related materials.

Client Relationship & Consulting

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a primary point of contact for cloud-related inquiries.

  • Provide consultancy to existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and expanding TRKKN's Cloud & AI solutions. E.g., identifying follow-up opportunities in active projects, identifying high-value customers for Cloud to follow up on, and aligning with/ Google Cloud on which customers to tackle jointly.

Knowledge Management

  • Identify, create, maintain, and develop a comprehensive knowledge base for sales and consulting purposes.

  • Explore and integrate LLM Assistants to enhance knowledge accessibility and efficiency.

Internal Collaboration

  • Ensure seamless crossfunctional collaboration to improve service offerings and to increase business opportunities.

  • Contribute to aligning Google Cloud solutions with TRKKN's other service offerings (GMP, AdTech, CO) to provide holistic client solutions.

The person we are looking for has...

  • Customer-facing experience in sales, sales engineering, consulting, or a related function.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences with varying technical backgrounds.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

  • Project management skills, specifically within pre-sales processes.

  • A good understanding of (Google) Cloud Platform ideally combined with Google Marketing Platform knowledge.

  • Familiarity with cloud solution architecture and best practices.

  • Experience crafting technical SOWs.

  • Fluency in English (min. C1); German language skills are preferred (min. C1).

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment with a multicultural team.

  • Ideally, certifications in Cloud, e.g., Cloud Digital Leader, Cloud Professional Architect, etc.

Your journey with us will look like this:

1-Month Goal

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Google Cloud offerings by completing the Google Cloud ‘Sales Credential’.

  • Develop a solution or blueprint overview of AA&AI and CE services.

  • Assess the current sales and pre-sales process and develop at least 1 initiative on how to improve.

  • Support at least 5 pre-sales activities.

3-Month Goal

  • Obtain the Google Cloud Digital Leader certification.

  • Engage with existing clients to understand their business models and challenges, and contribute to creating roadmaps for significant clients w/ the support of our tech leads.

  • Create or improve pre-sales and after-sales materials for 1-2 blueprints.

  • Familiarize yourself with the current ongoing projects.

  • Implement 1-2 improvements for the current pre-sales process.

  • Participate in 2-3 Cloud projects and create a collaboration model w/ the PM team in order to identify follow-up opportunities.

  • Participate in 10 mid- to large-sized pre-sales workstreams.

  • Successfully delivered three client engagements, resulting in SoW and project scoping.

6-Month Goal

  • Obtain the Google Cloud Professional Architect certification.

  • Ownership of the pre-sales process.

  • Successfully delivered multiple workshops with 5-7 clients, resulting in SoW and project scoping.

  • Successfully sold 100 PD worth of projects.

  • Identify and Document 3 Key Upsell/Cross-sell Opportunities with Existing Clients → develop a structured after sales process, from identifying follow-up opportunities to recurring business.

12-Month Goal

  • Begin aligning Google Cloud solutions with TRKKN's other services, offering clients a holistic approach.

  • Mentor and train other consultants and salespeople, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

  • Drive initiatives to further integrate Google Cloud solutions with other TRKKN services.

  • Lead initiatives to expand TRKKN’s cloud service offerings.
