The IT Management team is looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position (39 hours per week), with a minimum of 30 hours of part-time work available.

Our motivated IT management team works closely with external service providers to meet our diverse IT requirements. We operate not only a medium-sized infrastructure but also a state-of-the-art data center. We also rely on advanced cloud technologies to remain flexible and scalable. Our expertise in software development enables us to develop customized solutions that meet the specific needs of our member institutions.

Your tasks:

• You automate CI/CD processes with GitHub Actions.
• You monitor and optimize performance with DataDog.
• You ensure code quality with SonarCloud.
• You manage and secure our Microsoft Azure tenant.
• You manage and secure our AWS tenant.
• You containerize and orchestrate with Docker.
• You support the development teams (Java & React) with DevOps best practices.
• You will be responsible for security, monitoring and scaling of our cloud environments.

Our requirements and expectations:

• You can demonstrate your ability to work in a structured manner, understand complex issues and present them clearly by completing training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
• You have experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role and have achieved at least a mid grade.
• You have in-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• You have experience with monitoring and logging, ideally with DataDog.
• You have expertise in code analysis and quality assurance (SonarCloud is an advantage).
• You have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Tenants.
• Additional experience with AWS is an advantage.
• You are confident in using Docker (creating and deploying containers).
• You have an understanding of Java and React environments (no coding required, but helpful) and understand Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• You work independently and are willing to evaluate new technologies.
• You have solid knowledge of German and English (C1).
