As a highly skilled and experienced Senior Expert in Control Systems you have a strong focus on the architecture and concepts of Multilevel Converters and DC-DC Converters Control Systems.The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in designing, implementing, and optimizing control strategies for high power and high voltage power electronic converters used in various applications including but not limited to renewable energy systems and smart grids. 
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Lead the development of advanced control architecture and algorithms for multilevel converters and DC-DC converters to improve performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability. 
• Conduct rigorous modeling and simulation activities to validate control strategies under different operating conditions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into overall product design. 
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in power electronics technology; propose innovative solutions that can give our products a competitive edge. 
• Guide junior engineers and technicians; provide expert advice on technical challenges related to power conversion systems. 
• Publish research findings in top-tier journals/conferences; represent the company at industry events. 

What You Bring

• PhD or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a specialization in Power Electronics/Control Systems. 
• Several years of professional experience designing control systems for multilevel inverters/converter technologies. 
• Consistent track record of successful projects involving high-power electronics applications. 
• Deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques applied to power electronic converter controls. 
• Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) for system analysis and design validation. 
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a creative approach to problem-solving. - Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor less experienced team members. 
• Fluent in English; German language skills at C1 level are appreciated.
