Corporate Banking domain
Corporate Banking (CB) is a technology centric business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. Joining our team is a unique opportunity to help maintain and evolve the core of testing tool with very rich test automation capabilities to support many different testing levels and types including E2E testing, regression testing, functional test automation, consumer-driven contract testing, production-parallel testing.
As a Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer (f/m/x) you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and rollout of new features. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development concepts. A good understanding of Cloud concepts is a plus.

Your key responsibilities
Design new functionality, working closely with business and IT colleagues on both functional and non-functional requirements.
Take full ownership of tasks and business features: design, decompose into stories, develop, review, and auto-test new functionality.
Document business and functional requirements, design decisions, and APIs.
Collaborate with QA teams on test automation for new and existing functionality.
Drive delivery of business features, cooperating with team members and other teams.
Contribute to the definition of the future state of system architecture.
Mentor, direct, and support less experienced engineers as product and architecture knowledge grows.
Your skills and experiences
Strong Java and/or Kotlin experience, including Spring framework and concurrency.
Solid understanding of software architecture principles and best practices for designing Java/Kotlin applications.
Experience with microservice architecture and building high availability solutions.
Good knowledge of SQL, experience with optimizing existing queries.
Proficiency in working with UNIX/Linux environments and bash scripting.
Hands-on experience with Gradle/Maven, Docker/Podman, Kafka, OpenAPI, noSQL and cloud providers (GCP or others) is a plus.
Good knowledge of application development lifecycle and familiarity with modern SDLC tools (Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc.).
Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) is a plus.
High readiness to work in innovative and dynamic environments.
