JOB DESCRIPTION

The role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager II to own and strategically evolve our customer profile product. This role is pivotal in scaling a critical data asset that enables best-in-class personalization across global marketing and digital product touchpoints. As a Product Manager, you'll be part of a team of software and data engineers who work together to build innovative data products in an agile, highly collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on and own the vision for our team in the next few years and work on making that a reality through customer centric prioritization.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the unified customer profile, treating it as a core data product. You will focus on major improvements that introduce step-changes in product capabilities and align with long-term business value goals.
  • Independently manage relationships with key stakeholders to help build and scale adoption. You will work backward from customer needs to define product strategies and translate them into a prioritized backlog, ensuring alignment even in areas of high ambiguity while focussing on incremental value.
  • Provide effective written and verbal updates on the product roadmap and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Define clear OKRs and KPIs with your team and track progress against them regularly.
  • Own integrations with partner applications and manage relationships, including external vendors, across applications.
  • Act as a guardian of your product's data. Establish 'data contracts' with downstream and upstream users and treat data as a strategic asset, not an afterthought.
  • Keep up on industry trends that help us evaluate the company’s needs in marketing and data technologies.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive hands-on product management experience, with a proven ability to lead teams of 5+ engineers and data scientists in developing complex data or MarTech products. You have a track record of shipping products in a highly ambiguous solution space.
  • A deep understanding of how to connect product initiatives to outcomes and KPIs. You are adept at creating and executing complex go-to-market strategies that align tech and commercial stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with agile methodologies like Scrum & Kanban and proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira.
  • Knowledge of MarTech tools (CDPs, Identity Management, Audience Management etc.). Experience with implementation of such products will be an added bonus.
  • Experience building data products especially around audience segmentation, personalization and targeting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, product and marketing in a fast-paced technology organization.
  • A proven track record of independently delivering major product iterations that result in significant, measurable business impact. You are skilled in testing and validating hypotheses around value, usability, feasibility, and business viability.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others including senior stakeholders, and build business cases. Knowledge of Tableau, Excel, Analytics highly desirable.
