About the role:

In this role you will be responsible for leading project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects across multiple studies and clients. You will oversee planning and execution, remove operational blockers, and work closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders to drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

Tasks

As a Team Lead Project and Operations Management (f/m/d), you would be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting project teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects.
• Overseeing planning, execution, and monitoring across multiple studies and client accounts.
• Identifying, prioritizing, and resolving operational risks and blockers to keep projects on track.
• Driving portfolio-level performance reviews and reporting, providing clear and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborating closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal study outcomes.
• Implementing process improvements and best practices to optimize operational workflows.
• Ensuring compliance with internal SOPs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all projects.
• Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

We would like you to have:

• Proven experience in project and/or operations management within the clinical trial industry, ideally in a leadership role.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex portfolios and multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to lead teams, resolve operational challenges, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with performance metrics, portfolio reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
