We are looking for a 
Tech Platform Lead - Checkout, Consumer & Merchant (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full-time) to join our team at our Berlin, Amsterdam, and Tallinn locations to build the next generation of fintech.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Owning the technical vision of our payment methods, our Apps, Portals and our checkout APIs
• Leading the design, development, deployment, and operations of the components 
• Collaborating with product leadership to align technical solutions with business requirements 
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the software engineering teams 
• Planning and tracking budgets, ensuring cost efficiency of development and operations 
• Ensuring engineering adhesion to best practices in security, scalability, and performance and fulfilling all compliance and regulatory requirements 
• Staying on top of the  latest industry trends and overseeing the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the platforms capabilities 

 
What will help to succeed in the role: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in the fintech industry. 
• Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend technologies. 
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar. 
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
