Our client is a growing technology start-up with its headquarters in Berlin, operating in a highly sensitive and impact‑driven domain. The organization combines strong engineering standards with a clear mission and a collaborative, international culture. To strengthen the engineering leadership of our client, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Lead (m/f/d).

Aufgabengebiet

• Technical leadership and ownership of software architecture and code quality
• Design and implementation of scalable, secure and maintainable systems
• Responsibility for backend, mobile, and web applications
• Hands‑on development and technical mentoring of engineers
• Close collaboration with the CTO, product management, UX and business stakeholders
• Driving best practices in software engineering, testing and delivery
• Mentor and develop a highly talented engineering team

Anforderungsprofil

• Several years of professional experience in IT / software engineering with strong hands‑on expertise
• Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives or small to mid‑sized engineering teams
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Kotlin, Python or Go
• Experience with frontend technologies is a plus (e.g. React, Vue or similar frameworks)
• Solid experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS or GCP, including containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good understanding of distributed systems, APIs, data models and service‑oriented architectures
• Practical knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD, automation, IaC, etc.)
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic leadership style
