Your Role
- Development of a comprehensive technical concept (TCMS/Train IT architecture), considering standard components, product strategies, and cost optimization to achieve target costs.
- Conceptual design of the electrical architecture (especially propulsion, braking, auxiliary systems, underfloor components such as control cabinets and main power supply).
- Technical support for the TBM/TM and contribution to the preparation of technical offers and project documentation.
- Standardization: Development and establishment of standardized architectures for bid projects; platform adaptation if necessary.
- Clarification of architectural requirements and technical interfaces across all subsystems as well as the review of relevant subsystem concepts.
- Technical guidance and training of teams, and collaboration with specialist departments and technical coordination of concepts and requirements.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed technical degree in TCMS, Train IT, control systems engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the design of propulsion systems and electrical components.
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., IEC 50128, IEC 61131, IEC 61375).
- Interest in requirements engineering and systems engineering is a must have and experience in leading technical teams is desirable.
- Fluent English skills are required; German language skills are a plus.
